Biden diz que sanções contra Cuba são “apenas o começo”

O presidente dos Estados Unidos, Joe Biden, disse nesta quinta-feira que as novas sanções dos EUA contra Cuba têm como alvo os responsáveis por reprimir manifestações naquele país e que este é apenas o primeiro passo na resposta norte-americana.

“Este é apenas o começo”, disse Biden em um comunicado. “Os EUA condenam as detenções em massa e os julgamentos simulados em Cuba e vão continuar punindo os indivíduos responsáveis pela opressão do povo cubano”, afirmou.
